Rob visits with master craftsman Alan Peters in his Somerset, England workshop for a look at one of the most creative craftsman of the past century. Alan's apprenticeship took place in a commercial shop that operated without electricity. His skill with hand tools is unmatched as is his ability to design functional furniture. Alan is a living link to the much celebrated arts and crafts movement of the early 20th century. Run time 53 minutes.
Rob Cosman has been woodworking for most of his life. While earning a B.Sc. in Industrial Technology / Furniture Design at Brigham Young University, he was Dr. Dale L. Nish's teaching assistant. Rob has also worked with many of the world's best craftsmen – including Alan Peters, Sam Maloof, Tage Frid, Monroe Robinson and Peter Korn.
