Product Information:

Here's an Americanized version of the French empire style. The name "sleigh bed" is derived from the scrolled, sleigh-like head and footboard. This project has the builder use modern power tools to create the curvature of the legs, so there is no steaming required. Both headboard and footboard are designed with large raised panels for an elegant appearance. Build either a full size, or queen size bed.

Full, 57-1/8" wide, 82" long

Full size plan is good. One page of instructions were out of sequence for logical progression. Some instructions could be longer for better understanding of how best to proceed. Making the roll top should have included idea about glue up and turn on lathe and take apart
