I bought this to use with the Woodriver clamp guide. I attached it to my plunge router and I am very pleased with it. All it took was drilling a few holes. They work very well together.

I purchased this along with the 36" WoodRiver clamp and together they work very well. You cannot compare this to guides and clamps that are hundreds of dollars, but if you have an occasional use for one this is the one to get.

Combined with the clamp guide, this is a great system. Mounted a Makita hypoid circular saw to the base. It's like having a track saw without the big $$s. Makes cutting plywood sheets a breeze. Easy to install. Buying another for my router for dadoes. I highly recommend for the DIY woodworkers. I've never made such square cuts on plywood before.

This thing showed up with a visible bow in the plastic plate that your tool mounts on... It's not flat at all. Clamping helped some, but for this money, it should be dead flat. There is also considerable slop in the fitment slot to the guide clamp. Will not affect a circular saw cut as much, but will definitely make a dead straight router cut (such as a shelf dado) very difficult to achieve. Also, there is no mounting hardware for your tools, nor any instructions. You are left totally on your own. Disappointing...

The product description says that this is for the Guide Clamps. However, it works with the newer Guide Rail system as well.
