Product Information:

No one wants to ruin the face of their expensive table saw fence with a dado blade. But the trouble with sacrificial fences is the clamps get in the way when making the cut. The “hole clamp” from Mesa Vista Design will allow you to easily clamp a sub-fence of any material to your power tool guide fence without interference. This is great for rabbeting with dado blades, adding a high sub-fence for vertical support or attaching a steel plate for Grip-Tite magnetic hold downs. There is no drilling into the fence face, only two vertical 7/16" holes in your scrap material, slide the post of the clamp into the hole and tighten on your fence! Two clamps included.

    Should have read reviews, too small for my PM66. Tried one fence with holes drilled at edge and was just able to slide over primary fence

    The best way to add a sacrificial fence to your table saw. The only draw back is you need to use wood that is one inch or thicker, useing three-quater wood is to thin. You can not only add a sacrificial fence to your table saw but can also use it to hold different jigs in place instead of using clamps.

    The picture on the Woodcraft site shows these being used with a Powermatic saw. However, the clamps that were shipped to me are too small to use on my PM2000. The length is just shy of being able to span the two .75" UMHW fence edges on the stock fence. For now, these are going unused in my shop.

    Got a set for christmas. The ones I have don't fit my powermatic fence. After going to website ([@]), I found there are two different sizes. This is not mentioned on this site.

    The clamps do the job, but I wanted the 'jaw' to be larger so I could use a taller sub-fence. The picture is accurate. I was able to attach a taller sub-fence to a smaller second piece and get what I wanted, so overall I am happy.

    Great little items, but the description is wrong, you need a 1/2" hole, not a 7/16" (the bars are 1/2" diameter) also keep in mind you must use a 3/4" auxilary fence, anything thinner and you can't drill into it to accomodate the ends. These have a minimum clamping capacity of 2 1/4", so you may need to add some shims on thinner router fences (I did), although its a fairly simple operation to replace the threaded bar with a longer one (which I plan to do)
