Flat Head, Combo Drive, Double Auger with Nibs. Recommended for general use in all types of wood, plywood and particle board. The patented thread design and 21-23 degree Type 17 self-drilling point reduces splitting and allows these screws to be driven into most hardwoods without the need for pre-drilling. Countersinking Nibs under the head remove material for a clean finish.

    The product is super. Phillips heads screws ought to be outlawed. With clutches on power drills, we don't need the camout feature. These screws are great for me. I'm a baby proofer who uses these screws to mount maple 1x2s to drywall and stud behind, so I can't waste time w/ predrilling. ONLY WISH THE NUMBER 8's WERE AVAILABLE IN YELLOW ZINC, BRASS, OR COLORS (TAN). I'D BE REALLY HAPPY, THEN!
