    Trimmed edges off a door from a barn for a bench top with my circular saw on site. Thanks to these clamps did not have to take this very heavy door to my table saw or mess around clamping wood guides.

    This set was a Christmas gift and I've used them for a variety of applications. When using the 50" clamp edge as a straight edge for your router be careful not to put too much pressure against the straight edge in the middle. It will flex slightly - especially in cuts of 1/4" or less. I suspected this and ran a test cut across a 48" piece of plywood. The bow was slight but noticeable. However, forewarned is forearmed. I would give it 5 stars if the clamping pads could pivot 45 deg. and not just 22.5.

    Had to modify a pair of NEW custom cabinets that were not made to spec, altering the depth from front to wall by removing 7/8 of an inch. This set of guides was all I needed, along with a 2' X 4' sheet of 3/4' plywood to make accurate saw and router cuts. Perfect results!
