    Easy to use and quick, accurate setup. A problem arises, however, when you use it to establish a straight edge that uses the full length of the device. The device isn't quite stiff enough to prevent flexing when clamping a 48" board. It flexes up to 1/16 inch or so under only moderate pressure (for example, when using a router to cut a slot in plywood). You need to brace the device in the center to prevent this movement. It's a hassle and detracts from its otherwise easy use.

    Good deal. Save me a lot of time for crosscuts up to 4' wide. Need a extra effort during clamping to prevent slipping (sliding), but over all very useful tool, recommended!

    I needed to crosscut 20 plus sheets of paneling. I have a table saw but I hate to man handle that many sheets so I decided to set up an 8' table and use my circular saw and needed to make a repeating setup. I could have easily gotten by with C clamps and my straight edge, but this made the job so much quicker. The table saw type of quick clamp and release is great.
