Product Information:

A marking knife is the most accurate way to “scribe” lay out lines for any fine, hand cut joinery. This beautiful example from the manufacturer of Swiss made carving tools is perfect for all your joinery lay out work. Featuring a K720 steel blade with a 60 degree, ground point allows the knife to be used left or right handed. The round Bubinga handle fits in the hand like pencil for accurate marking and features two small flats to prevent the tool from rolling on your bench top. Measurements: 1-3/8" blade and 7" overall length.

    The K720 steel blade is very good, but the round Bubinga handle not looks like real Bubinga, but a cheaper wood. Handle finishing is poor too.

    Can use left or right handed. Metal knives are hard for me to hold and use. This knife solved that problem. Wooden handle on knife I received was not too rough - has just the right grip.

    A knife is a knife etc.etc. Pretty hard to screw up. This version will work from either direction. which is handy. The handle was very poorly finished. It was very rough and appeared to never have come in contact with sandpaper. Either poor quality control or lousy workmanship. I sanded the handle and applied a coat of shellac. It now looks like a "finished" tool.
