Comments about Bessey H-Series Pipe Clamp Fixture, 3/4" :

These clamps worked smoothly and robustly. Make sure the 3/4" pipe is robust enough or it will bend. Go with 3/4" thick rod to minimize deflections.

Comments about Bessey H-Series Pipe Clamp Fixture, 3/4" :

Gearing up to make my own kitchen cabinets, I've been acquiring these clamps. I like the ease of use; but one I acquired a few months ago had to be ground out with a drill press in order to work better. Compared to all other pipe clamps, these seem to be the best. Depth of grip; pads; stability; machining of the screw - all seem to be really nice. I paint them green because I don't care for the red color.

Comments about Bessey H-Series Pipe Clamp Fixture, 3/4" :

These clamps are made in China and while they appear to be durable they do not have the fine feel of a made in USA Jorgensen Pony clamp. However they are not as frustrating to use as the Jogensen or virtually any other pipe clamp as the legs do stabilize the clamps and elevate them so you can turn the handle or fit cauls under your work. They are not as full featured as those of another retailer whose name I'm apparently not supposed to mention which not only came first but seem better thought out. One minor annoyance is that the legs do not hook over a 2x4 for hanging. If they were a quarter of an inch longer I think they would. I found them an improvement over the standard pipe clamp, but not as good as they could be, especially at the regular price.
