Comments about 20" Bed Extension for Mini Lathe :
You will need only 20 minutes to mount the extension. I need to aply some sand paper with some mineral spirits to the bed because is coarse in comparation with the original bed. Aply some wax at the end. The "manual" is so "short", only some lines and a picture in one page.... more pictures will be useful....
Very nice addition

this product extends the turning capacity of a jet mini lathe. although the bed says a 20 inch extension the actual bed is about 26 inches and with the tailstock all the way out i can get close to 40 inches which is more than enough and bigger than some full sized lathes. i found that the lathe has ample power to turn pieces over this distance and it is a great addition to my shop. the only drawbacks that i find is that i also need a new tool rest to span the larger distance but that is not a gripe with the lathe or extension just an annoyance that comes out of purchasing the extension. they arent really expensive though. the other small con is that the beds didnt line up perfectly but since it is an add on i didnt really expect them too. but with a small shift in the extension everything was lined up and ready to go.
