Product Information:

This Freud blade's specially designed triple-chip tooth design produces extremely smooth, true surfaces for gluing and finish work. There is no need for sanding or jointing after the cut. The ideal working range is from 1/8" to 1" thick. This blade also features laser-cut anti-vibration slots that practically eliminate the vibration that resonates in standard blades. With this ultimate ripping blade, there is no need for stabilizers. .118 kerf 5/8" arbor

    This blade lives up to its hype. The stock can be ripped very fast and the cut surface comes out looking as good or better than a edge done on a router. With a good saw, properly set-up and proper technique, you get an cut edge that is truly ready for glue-up.

    Freud products have always been dependable for me. I just replaced this rip blade after about 5 years of many feet of mahogany, maple, oak and even purple heart. I think it's a very good product, and well worth the extra money.

    Used this blade to cut oak. Not quite as good a finish as a jointer but close. A light sanding produced good results.
