Product Information:

Affordable powered nuisance dusk mask.

Protect yourself from nuisance dust with this effective positive pressure cartridge mask that is not only comfortable, but quite affordable. The Power Mask is lightweight and because it is positive pressure it doesn't have to be pulled tight on your face. You'll appreciate the comfortable, secure fit. The small 2-speed fan that is built into the front of the mask pulls air through the filter, continually providing clean and cool air. The quiet motor runs on 4AA batteries (not included) and has a handy belt clip.Three dust cartridges and 10 pre-filters included.

Comments about Power Mask Powered Respirator :

Did not last very long, the motor went of in about two years. Still got a lot of dust in my eyes, rubber did not seal well around my nose. My cousin got the Trend and loves it, it is a lot more money, but if you are anything more the a casual hobbyist spend the extra money and get something that will do the job properly and last.

    Makes breathing easy

    By  Wood Artist

    Pros

    • Simple to Use

    Cons

    • Interferes with glasses

    Best Uses

    • Stops fine sawdust

Comments about Power Mask Powered Respirator :

I am an asthmatic. Most other air filtering products I used made it difficult to breathe. So I typically used a simple nuisance mask while sanding. Unfortunately I did not know that the dust from spalted maple contains mold spores making it toxic! I was hospitalized 10 days as a result! This respirator not only filters but also introduces a constant supply of clean air making breathing easy. I wore this respirator after hospitalization while vacuuming my shop from top to bottom. I experienced no ill effects getting rid of the remaining toxic dust thanks to this respirator. The only problem I encountered was some interference with my glasses. Adjusting the respirator downward helped some. The batteries were still functioning after 4 hours of use. A respirator is obviously far less costly than a hospital stay!

Comments about Power Mask Powered Respirator :

Perfect protection from dust when working with power tools. It´s realtivetly cheap, even to import it to Sweden. I haven´t seen anything like it i Sweden. I have seen some kind of helmets with air thats make a similar effect, but those cost 100 dollar or more and is made for proffesional use, not for do-it-youselfer.

Comments about Power Mask Powered Respirator :

I use this respirator in my wood shop and on demo jobs on my propertys. The positive power air flow keeps dust and debris from being sucked in around the seal, way better then a paper mask. Breathing in this mask is much easier then conventional products. Batteries are not included with the mask, so my recommendation is to buy rechagables. One charge will last 4-5 hours. Order extra pre-filters now because they get dirty quicker then a normal filter because of the power air flow. I've give several of these away as gifts and they have been well recieved. Great product!
