Product Information:

Arm-R-Seal is an extremely durable varnish suitable for furniture, cabinets, millwork and case goods. The unique oil and urethane resins provide deep penetration into the substrate and forms a hard, tough, beautiful finish resistant to household chemicals, water and mar. It is formulated to be wiped on with a cloth or applied with a foam brush, thus eliminating drips and sags. Arm-R-Seal provides a warm look, sands well and are easy to apply.

    Built replacement cabinets for my kitchen. Used it to clear coat the plywood sides and Maple trim and door. Kitchen really shines.

    This is my new favorite product. Even though I put "Not cheap" in the Cons section, I do believe that you get what you pay for. I applied 5 coats of Arm-R-Seal over one coat of Seal-A-Cell on beachwood, sanding between coats. Since this is wiped on, there are no brush marks, streaks, etc. It does get sticky, so wear gloves. I used this in the middle of a TX summer (90` in the garage) and had no problems.

    I use Arm R Seal over a first coat of Seal A Cell for all my boxes and small tables, it takes 5 to 8 coats but it's worth it!

    I've used this finish in two projects to date - on cabinetry and raised panel woodworking in my billiard room and recently when refinishing old kitchen cabinets in my ski house. Product produces a hard, streak and run-free finish, wiped on with a rag. Requires 3 coats buffed in between, as they apply thinly. The finished product looks fantastic.
