    Great product. Takes some effort to assemble, but well worth it considering the mobility it brings to my mitre saw. A must have for the small shop! Have a few extra 7/16 bolts on hand as I broke 2 of them during assembly. A small price to pay for a wonderful addition to my shop.

    Found model 2850 in a reputable hardware store for an excellent price. I utilized 3/4" OSB sub floor panel for the shelving due to its extra hardness and better affordability.I utilized 3/4"x16"x36"pre-finished white Melamine shelving panels for the wings.Melamine resists moisture,does not stain and is easy to keep clean.It's slippery finish also helps the work material slide easily along the work top.All the hardware and steel seemed of good heavy quality.Assembly takes some professional patience.This is not a unit to be "slapped" together in an hour or so.The instructions are clear when followed correctly,but the wing assembly step needs re-written.I did not invert the unit to assemble the latching hardware.Overall I would highly recommend this unit.

    With only a half of a garage available for a workshop, my tools have to be space-efficient and mobile. Rousseau's Shop Style Miter Saw Stand Kit,Model 2850 addresses all of my requirements and then some. True, the instructions and diagrams did require careful study and the stand did take some time to assemble to do it right, it was worth every hour it took. The additional shelving is a plus, and by using phenolic coated plywood, instead of MDF, the collapsible wings make a nice working surface for other shop activity. Great product at a reasonable cost.

    I assembled the unit without any problems. Very sturdy and good gauge metal. Went to [...] and had them cut up the pieces from a 4x8 3/4 mdf for no extra charge. Just finished mounting the miter saw on the stand. This is an excellent unit and with the fold down shelves it does not take up that much room. Smart design to use your own wood instead of paying overheard, shipping, etc to get it from the manufacturer.
