RIKON Universal Mini Lathe Stand
I set my Rikon 70-050VS up on this stand and it fit wonderfully. Assembly took about an hour while sitting in the living room watching TV. I followed the instructions for setting the proper height but found that set the lathe about 6-8 inches lower than I consider comfortable, as I had to bend a good bit for everything. That said I raised it up by 2 holes and my lathe now fits me perfectly. The stand is sturdy enough that I feel comfortable gouging the hardest, most stubborn of woods yet light enough that I can move it around my work area to suit needs.

Very pleased with my purchase
It is a very sturdy stand.
Perfect stand for my mini lathe
East assembly and adjustment
I bought this because of the price. My Jet midi only aligns 4 of the 8 mounting holes. The stand could also use a wider base... Nice stand just not perfect.
Good solid stand, not very universal
This Rikon stand was purchased to go with the Steel City Midi Lathe. It was just barely long enough to handle the lathe. So far it has been sturdy and solid even though it is on the very longest thread. Looking forward to many years of solid turning.
Very Good Buy
I bought this stand to hold my Jet Midi. The Jet would have been my preferred stand, but the price is a little high. I ran across an ad for the Rikon and thought it to be more in my price-range. Upon receipt, it took only minutes to assemble and mount my lathe. It is sturdy, fully adjustable in both height and length and I am quite pleased with the results.
