5/16" diameter step-bit has 1/4" hex-shank for quick-change chucks.

This one-piece design eliminates clogging and provides a much smoother and faster drilling stroke than the drill bits with replaceable center drills. The KJD bit is made of high-speed steel. Because the KJD bit is 3/8" diameter and it can be used in any of the KREG manual jigs.
