The Universal Drawer Slide Mounting Tool takes the guesswork out of mounting drawer slides parallel to the drawer opening. Perfect for mounting most types of metal drawer slides including; bottom-mount, full-extension and center mount slides. It uses the intersection of the cabinet stile and rail in face frame cabinets or the cabinet side in frameless cabinets as a reference point from which to position a slide perfectly parallel to the drawer opening. This is the only mounting tool that is designed to work with multiple styles of drawer slides thanks to the unique magnetic design. Simply place a metallic drawer slide into position on the base of the tool, align the tool where the stile and rail meet and drive the screws. Perfect alignment every time!

    I found that the tool greatly speeds up the process of installing drawer slides. I installed five sets of slides in about an hour, where without the tool it would take at least two to two and a half hours to complete. It was sometimes difficult to ensure a 90 degree angle to the face of the cabinet if using narrow facing.
