Universal is an excellent way of describing this vise. The 3-1/2" wide by 2-1/8" high jaws have a 5" open capacity, in either a vertical or horizontal position. The faces are drilled to accept wood facings, there is a small anvil, and the vise rotates 360º on its base, locking tight as soon as an item is secured in the jaws.
- The handle and thread are chrome plated for durability.
- Bolt holes in the base legs make it easy to attach the vise to a bench top.
- Tip: For portability, bolt the vise to a piece of plywood that can then be securely clamped to a workbench.
