Product Information:

A cabinet scraper is one of the most useful tools in the shop, but keeping the proper arc on the blade is sometimes difficult. During long periods of use thumbs and wrists can quickly tire, especially for those with small hands. Our ergonomically shaped wooden holder eliminates that fatigue and strain, at an exceptionally low cost! For best scraping results, with the least amount of work, our wooden holder will keep the scraper in its correct arc, letting you concentrate on the cutting angle.

Pretty useless after that. A metal threaded screw and hole would have been more durable.
