I somehow ordered this product by mistake along with the Advanced GRR-Ripper system when it was on sale but decided to keep it. My first use of the system was to rip edging for the front of a plywood project and this worked great. I had good control of both pieces through out the entire cut.

Can be used on anything being pushed through saws: Respectful of blades but not afraid when making small thin cuts.

I cut a lot of narrow stripes of wood for some of my projects and this tool makes the cuts much safer to cut.

I ordered the 1/8" leg along with the Gripper jig. I haven't used either product yet but was very disappointed that the Gripper did not come with the instructional DVD that the company also makes. The printed instructions are not great. For example, do you need to cut a new spacer board for every rip of a different width? I complained to the company and they were unapologetic (they suggested I look at unauthorized videos on U-tube). Since improper use of this product can defeat it's safety features and is potentially very dangerous I think the DVD should have been included instead of holding out for another $10 profit and the additional delays that entails.
