The top plastic on both sets broke after first an one was cracked upon receiving it SAVE YOUR MONEY

I didn't have high expectations to begin with, and I was still dissapointed. Item looked and felt sturdy. Good steel. Solid plastic body. Good idea; poor execution. Plastic retaining clip cracked at first use. Not as versital as an adjustable clamp. Minimal gripping strength.

These clamps have worked well for me on 1/2" 1/4" and 1/8" thick box sides. My question is this....How do you use the square blocks that come with them?

I used on 3/4" treated lumber to square up a boat boarding ladder. I was able to drill pilot holes and set screws with out getting the project out of square. Very easy to use and adjust. Make sure that you buy two sets (4 clamps)

These things REALLY HOLDS. Once you get your material lined up and clip these on, then there is where they stay.

These are easy to use and are great when you are trying to make cabinets. They are MUCH faster than using a clamping process.

I have owned these for about 3 years. I maybe have used them a dozen or so times when I remembered I had them. They were not a go to clamp because they were slightly frustrating to use and with the type of joinery I used they were not really a help. The biggest problem is they are capped with plastic which holds the spring steel together. One of the clamps has broken, during regular use, rendering it completely useless. I tried to super glue it together but it is built poorly and just cracks under presure. I would only even consider buying if butt end joinery is all you do and it is with 1/2" material at its thickest. Thumbs down on this product as specified.
