I,actually bought this product for my daughter, so she would not use my "Z" saw. After cutting a couple of scrap pieces, I found this saw is great for cutting smaller pieces. This is a great beginner saw for cutting dovetails, the blade is slightly thicker than other pull saws. The teeth do not break as easy. I would recommend this saw to anyone who wants to try a pull saw or wants to cut dovetails by hand.
