Product Information:

This premium tung oil-based sealer/wood finish in a Low VOC Formulation goes on easily with a brush, lambswool applicator, cloth roller or spray and resists alcohol, hot liquids and similar problems while sealing the wood and hardening and enhancing the wood’s natural appearance. Note: Available in Original and a Low VOC Formulation. Both formulas go on easily and offer superior results but should not be used together. If you start out with Original, complete the project with Original, or if you go with the Low VOC Formulation, continue to use the Low VOC Formulation through to completion.

  • Easy to apply; Coverage 125 sq. ft. per quart

  • When finished, renders a 20-25° gloss level

    Easy to apply but you have to make sure it dries well between coats. Fantastic finish. I've been using tung oil and bee's wax for quite a few years. This product is the ticket!!

    I keep coming back to this product. I sometimes think to try a straight poly, but Waterlox has provided a beautiful finish every time. I typically add a few coats of shellac to give a nice smooth surface and seal any dye I use prior to adding this product. I have never had to go back and redo any surface (counter tops/table tops). I made a walnut TV stand for my father. He has a big CRT TV and slides it around to view from his chair. Two years later, I don't see any signs of deep scratches or wear. It really brought out the character of the walnut, too.
