Product Information:

Put your open base saw on wheels with the touch of a toe! Unlike mobile bases, these casters do not change the height of your saw. When the casters are retracted your saw sits solidly on its own legs. The swiveling wheels fit most open base saws. Set of four; all mounting hardware is included. On some saws, drilling may be required for the mounting hardware.Weight capacity is 600Lbs for 4; or 150Lbs each.

I had to drill holes to mount the unit onto my disk sander but what a difference. I can easily move the unit around with little effort. Just snap the wheels up or down to move or have the unit stable.

Plusses: There is nothing like these on the market--period! They work--as long as you don't try to put them on something really heavy. They are reasonably priced. They are not hard to install but did require a lot of drilling (5/16"). The operation of the flip-down mechanism is simple and positive. Shipping was quick and product arrived in pristine condition. Minuses: Mounting hardware incomplete (no lock washers). Lots of drilling required (5/16"); I went through two drill bits. Caster wheels seem light, but do work okay on my garage floor. Absolutely no instructions included. These things increase the footprint of my tool stand by over a foot each way; in my garage-workshop space is at a minimum. All in all, I am well satisfied. They took a while to install--I found it easier to disassemble the saw--but I enjoy this kind of thing.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Used them for a very heavy planer. Now I can move it to wherever it works the best. Had to drill holes in the legs for them but no problem.
