The only issue with this lock is that it is slightly wider than 5/16", so you will have to hand fit after routing.

I really enjoy this lock. The only drawback was installing it...took longer that I anticipated. That's going to change when I build the jig designed specifically for that.

[...] I spent half a day and several stops trying to find #4 x 1/2" screws in a "decorative" finish. I could find brass and zinc finish but that small of size is difficult to find in decorative. I have never purchased a lock set before that didn't include the hardware necessary to install it.
