Comments about Bed Rail Fastener :

Built a coustom bed frame, used product on bed rails for ease of assembly and disassembly. Product is heavy and solid .Product is moderatly difficult to install, but with moderate carpentry skills paired with sharp tools instalation went smooth. One thing I sould mention is the screw holes need to be countersunk deeper to accept a #8 screw, otherwise screw heads seem to interfer with brackets to pull tight.

These were used to replace ones that had been bent by the movers on our bed. The recommendation of the better grade of screws was excellent also. Thanks.

Comments about Bed Rail Fastener :

We had a handcrafted window treatment that didn't fit the usual hardware applications. A myrtlewood board with our smaller mule deer racks displayed, to go in our home office. At a weight of about 15 pounds, we didn't want it pulling off the wall.... We hit on the idea of using your Bed Rail Fasteners, with the hook side upside-down on the window frame, attached into the studs with 3" screws. The other side was screwed to a routed out 1x3 and then attached to the back of the board. Because of the tight tolerances, we had to measure carefully and did need to readjust one end for it to fit. But it's up there solidly, and we are very happy with it! Great product for an unusual application.

I would have preferred a brass finished option as well even though it isn't visible when assembled

Comments about Bed Rail Fastener :

I was able to drill a deeper reces on the female fasterner holes. Could not drill out the middle screw hole on the male fastener. The protruding screw head on the male fastener stopped the assembly from closing properly. I used #8 flat head wood screws.
