Comments about Magnetic or Clip On Base Work Light :

I noted in prior posts that it tends to droop unless really tighened. I think this is something I can work with OK. I've been looking for severe duty use light bulbs such as one uses in garage door openers. I've found plenty of 100 watt severe duty bulbs, but none rated at 60 watts (the maximum the lamp is rated for). I prefer these since they can be bumped around even when hot without failing and are less likely to shatter. The "drop light" hood has no such rating so I don't know if that's also limited to 60 watts, plus it looks flimsy. The base magnet appears to be quite strong. Time will tell. for the price, I can recommend them.

Comments about Magnetic or Clip On Base Work Light :

Didn't give it 5 stars due to the 60W light bulb limit. Other than that, this is an excellent light for improving your vision in difficult spots like the drill press and bandsaw.

Comments about Magnetic or Clip On Base Work Light :

I've added this to my band saw. The magnet is very strong so there is no slipping. Also comes with a spring clamp to replace the magnet so it can easily attach to a work bench. The light has an extra long, heavy duty cord . All of these things add to its versatility.
