Product Information:

Flexcut blades, as the name implies, are flexible to give you more control over your cuts. Made of high carbon spring steel, the tool shank gives just enough to follow the contour of carving, eliminating the need to have a handful of traditional tools to finish a single profile. This unique material also contributes to its excellent edge holding capability as the shank is tempered like a spring while the tip is hardened to Rc 59-61, then hand honed and polished. The ash handles are ergonomically designed to increase the comfort and ease of use. Each tool is pre-sharpened and ready to use. There's a knife for every cutting and shaping application that might arise.

    For years I have used a scalpel for fine detail work. Worked well, but blades kept breaking. Flex cut Mini Detail knife is great. Durable and sharp. Blade is small enough for fine work and thin and sharp. I found the handle a little small and slippery for my hand. I glued leather patches (from old work gloves) to each side and now works great! Very happy! I bought a 2nd one for my travel kit.
