I find these poorly made and dull even in softer wood. Doing a spiraling project was imposable because the rasp edges have no cutting teeth, thought I'd save a few bucks but wasted my money, should have gone for a different set of rasps.

although the product does work, it's of a very poor quality. even a large rifler should have more teeth than those ones did. bottom line if the pictures were of the actual product, that is the quality of the product i received, i would not have bought them. they seriously looked like something you find at a year round yard sale in a trailer park.

I use this product for striping and refinsing furniture. Files work great on most surfaces. Some of the files need to be a little sharper on some of the ends for tighter decorative pieces of wood.
