    It is a shame that the greatest and simplest clamp ever created is all but forgotten by young woodworkers today. With these clamps you can bring boards together that you just can't with regular bar or pipe clamps. If used in the end grain they cause almost no cupping of your boards as do other clamping systems. You of course need every type of clamp out there but if I were stranded on a island this would be the only clamp I would choose.
