Product Information:

Increase the versatility of your dust collection system or replace missing or worn out accessories on your existing shop vac or dust collector. These fittings allow you to set up a dust collection system for bench top tools using your shop vac, or use the 4" to 2-1/2" reducer and outfit your 4" system with a 2-1/2" hose and accessories. Union fitting is required to connect hoses together, or to other fittings. Shop Vac Hose Kit contains one 10' hose with end fittings, two straight wands, 14" floor tool, dusting brush and crevice tool.

    The end with the single port needs to be a male end so that it will fit into the shop vac. People who are buying 2 1/2" fittings are probably not using a central system. Female to female couplings are easy to find but not so for male to male couplings.
