Very accurate. The base can be difficult to adjust - it takes a little practice. Works well for the price.

Good for the low price I paid for it. Bt I do have a couple of gripes. 1. There is no way to zero the dial, the two black markers on the face can't be moved without affecting the dial reading. 2. The post on the top of the magnetic base isn' square to the base. 3. The giant knobs make it difficult to get the Dial close to the tablesaw I was trying to calibrate. I as able to get the saw to within .001 but it took some time to get it setup where it was accurate.
