Product Information:

Briwax is a solvent based blend of beeswax and carnauba wax. Briwax has long been recognized by furniture restoration professionals as a premiere, multi-purpose furniture wax. It produces a lustrous patina, not a glossy surface shine. It is suitable for use as a finish on new wood or stripped furniture, a reconditioner for old or damaged finishes, a furniture wax for fine furniture and antiques or an antiquing agent where the desire is to "age" a newly painted carving or project. Tinted waxes can be lightened or removed with the clear wax. 1lb.

A little goes a long way. I was hoping that I'd get a little more shine after applying. You end up with a satin finish which is the only reason I didn't give it 5 stars.

    Comments about Clear Briwax :

I make Custom Game Calls, and wanted to try the Wax, it is everything they said it would be. Works very well and is easy to use. It definately adds to the over-all Finish on the Calls. It gives them a very Professional Finish look, as well as adding to the protection of the wood the call is made from.

    Comments about Clear Briwax :

I purchased a dining room table from a famous furniture store that was gorgeous but that I feared didn't have adequate sealer to protect it from spills that my grandchildren might make. This product definitely put that protective coat on my table. Also used it on an antique desk. [...]

    Comments about Clear Briwax :

i purchased Briwax for my primitive antiques- some of which have nice old paint that started to look 'chalky' so i wanted to clean and bring back to life. Briwax required a lot of applying to the same small area in order to cover and it dried so quickly i could hardly tell where i'd covered or left off. after i buffed the final coat i could see a slight improvement. i was hoping for more bang for the buck but perhaps it requires more applications. i'll keep using it as it does state that it gets better as it builds coats. fingers crossed!
