About Me Casual Do-It-Yourselfer
Very easy to use. I do think that it should of had a set of bushings with it but I would say it is worth the money.

About Me Avid Do-It-Yourselfer
This works great. I bought this to use with my small wood lathe, which only accepts MT#1 attachments. Recently acquired an old metal lathe that I set up before setting up the wood lathe. Found a MT#3 to MT#1 adapter in the tooling I received (couldn't believe the luck!) with the metal lathe and tried to use this with the metal lathe (which has a MT#3 spindle). Found that this product did not work with the adapter. Looking at the problem, I had to shorten the MT (about 3/8") on this product to use in the adapter. Other than that minor problem (which is why I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars), this has worked great. Still works fine in the wood lathe, but if you buy this then upgrade to a larger lathe with a MT#2 in the spindle, beware that the adapters may not work unless you shorten the MT on this product. If you do have to shorten it be sure to debur the outside. Just to be clear, I did try this product in my wood lathe before shortening it and it is fine because the spindle hole is open ended. This will only be an issue if you get a larger lathe and need to use a MT#2 to MT#1 adapter (MT#3 are not typically used on wood lathes).
