Compact movements with removable speakers play both Westminster and Whittington chime melodies. Sound can be projected in any direction by moving the speaker in the clock case. Automatic night silence, which may be selected to silence the chiming from 10:59 PM until 5:59 AM, and a volume control are easily accessible on the back of the movement. Chime sounds every 15 minutes and plays a portion of the selected melody. The full melody and the hour count is played on the hour. Operates on a "C" size battery, (not included). Depth 2". Pendulum is 17-1/ 2" with a 2-3/4" brass bob and can be adjusted from 4" to 16".
