Product Information:

These hinges are machined from thick solid brass, polished and coated with protective "gold tinted" lacquer. This coating assures that your hinges will stay bright and beautiful for years to come. Side Rail Hinges are machined from 7/64" thick brass, are 5/16" wide and 1-1/2" long. Sold in pairs. These hinges stop at 95 degrees and are designed for medium duty applications. The Side Rail Hinges With Stays also stop at 95 degrees. Machined from 5/64" brass, 5/16" wide x 2" long. Let you use a heavier top. Both hinges mount with #2, 3/8" brass plated steel screws (included) which are coated with the same finish as the hinges.

    my first ime using this type of hinge. nowhere does it mention that your lid must be at least 1" thick to accomodate the stay. other than that, they worked well and were easy to install.kind of expensive for what you get....would have expected a more robust design.

    These hinges are very small. The instructions that came w/ were not very accurate. The routed length was stated @ 2" long but the actual length needed is less than that. Also requires small dia. but at least 1" long bit. The rear screws are difficult to get to.
