Comments about Rosewood and Brass Marking Set, 3 pc :
This is a decent set of tools For a decent price. I wish the marking gauge had blades instead of pins though.
Poor manufacturing quality control.

About Me Professional
We bought this set as a 'going away' gift for a retiring Japanese gentleman. The poor fit of the brass to the rosewood was visually obvious. Specifically, the slot in the brass where the the square protrudes was crooked and uneven. Also, the rosewood was not professionally sanded before the gloss finish was applied. I would recommend this product for suitable function, but not high quality fit and finish..
You can do better

I bought these a while ago and have since replaced each component with better quality tools. In fact, I really never used any of these except for the square now and then. Overall, it seems like a nice idea to get started, but in the end I personally wasted my money and time. Measuring and marking tools are very important to the quality of work and in learning to be a better wood worker.
