Titebond Polyurethane Glue 8oz
I use this primarily to glue pen tubes into blanks. It dries reasonably quickly and I have not had one failure. A barrel trimmer easily takes care of any foamed glue, and leaves no residue on the trimming tool. Try it, you'll like it!

Great for outdoor projects
In 2008 I used Titebond Polyurethane Glue to assemble two, five foot long, pine flower boxes I built. They are installed under a window that overlooks a deck. Since this is an outdoor project I specifically chose this glue because of its claim to be waterproof.
The flower boxes are only held together with the Titebond Polyurethane Glue. There are no mechanical fasteners and the boxes are not pinned together with any type of wooden dowels.
After three summers of rain, sun, high temperatures and watering the flowers the boxes contain all the joints in the boxes are still perfect. There is no indication anywhere that any of the joints have failed or are beginning to fail. So far, the glue has worked very, very well.
This is the first project I ever used polyurethane glue on. I found it very easy to work with. Removing the squeeze out was much easier than standard wood glues because of how the glue foams as it dries. If the parts fit together well the joint becomes nearly invisible after it's sanded.
The glue has an open time of around 20 minutes. The joints need to be clamped for about 45 minutes after assembly. The shelf life for any unused glue is about one year. I strongly suggest using some type of gloves when working this glue. It's very difficult to get off your hands after it has dried on your skin.
Overall, an excellent product that I wouldn't hesitate to use again or recommend to anyone looking to build an outdoor woodworking project.
