HTC Adjustable Mobile Base HTC-2000
Like I said, "well made , great for small shops"
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
Foot Lever Broke
HTC 2000 mobile base seemed to do a pretty good job on my bandsaw until the foot lever broke about the fourth time I used it. Now it is no good until I get another lever.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend

great cart for my sander table
Once assembled, it really helps in my shop. My sanding work station centers around it. The raising/lowering of the casters is very convenient.
Great product Great deal!
This slick product turned my immovable band saw into a smooth rolling and more stable machine.
Purchased this today for a Craftsman 14" band saw. It assembled easily with no difficulties at all. It is definitely strong enough to support this saw. Easy to "drive" it around. This is a great mobility solution if that is what you need.

Follow-on to my 12/22 Review
As a follow-on to my 12/22/12 post, I was so pleased with the HTC-2000 model under my table saw I ordered an additional pair for my planner and bandsaw. I'm not sure how well the unit would hold up at its absolute maximim dimensions - it really does have to have two nuts/bolts at each connection for strength - but it works well for me at 33" x 22", 30" x 21", and 29" x 29".
The instructions, as noted previously, are lacking - but once you've figured out the assembly it's really fairly simple. Just don't tighten everything down until you know you've got it right.
I would suggest not installing the roller wheels until the very last, in case you need to install rails in those holes first.
For the reviewer who claims it is so flimsy he might move some wood with it - I'd suggest re-reading the directions, and perhaps figuring out if what you ordered is actually the HTC. The only pieces of plastic on this unit are the levers to raise and lower it... and they're good and strong.
Works well - need a brain to assemble
I use this mobile base on my Craftsman Contractor Table Saw, which weighs quite a bit with the cast iron wings, etc. Works well - and I recommend it for machines that aren't "tipsy." (Read the other reviews for a neat solution on using it for a extra wide base to stabilize machines when necessary.)
My only caution is: Use your brain on this one. You'll need to read the (minimal) instructions word by word to catch some of the points such as where to put the long rails. And don't over-tighten the back wheels! Even with the bushing in place, the wheel bracket can be bent.
As for sizing? Loose assemble the rails to the length you need, then center them and adjust so the assemblies are evenly spaced across as many holes as possible.
I'm not sure why one reviewer thinks this is flimsy - it's NOT. Perhaps he didn't read the instructions or spend the time to think about assembling this for strength. About the only way to make it stronger that I can see is to weld it.
