Mujingfang Rosewood Adjustable Plough Plane
I needed a plough plane and couldn't find the acceptable version of the old Stanley or an original (because of price). That is why I bought Mujingfang Rosewood Adjustable Plough Plane. It comes with five irons to allow different groove widths, and has an adjustable fence allowing grooves that stand in from the edge, but there is not a depth stop. I am disappointed of the plane. It is not a 4 star plane.

A nice, basic plough plane
I bought this plane as I am starting to love wooden planes, and thought it would make a good entry level tool. After I honed the five included irons, I tried it out on some cypress, cutting an edge groove. The fence, which cuts on either side, adjusts easily, although manually. With a little tweak I had the grooves dead center on a 3/4" board edge. The iron cut smoothly down to it's 3/8" non-adjustable depth with no problems at all. I have since used it on red oak with the same results. The oak tended to peel a bit along the grain at the cut edge, but a bit of sandpaper to ease it and viola'. I plan on getting a lot of use out of this tool.

Good plane for a great price
I needed a plough plane, but couldn't afford the new version of the old Stanley or an original. This Chinese made beauty makes clean, basic grooves with the grain, at an affordable price. It comes with five irons to allow different groove widths, and has an adjustable fence allowing grooves that stand in from the edge. I've used this plane to make some frame and panel doors with very good results. The only thing it doesn't have is a depth stop. All grooves bottom out at 3/8 inch, which is perfect for panel grooves.
A nice, basic, wooden plane
I needed a plough plane, but couldn't afford the Lie Nielsen. This little Chinese made plane fit the bill just right. It is well made, the rose wood seems very hard and sturdy, and the fence does not slip when planing a groove. It is a bit uncomfortable because of the fence rods, but I'm sure as I get used to using it I will have less problem. The irons seem well tempered, and hone up pretty well. I have only used it in soft wood so far, but will definitely use it in harder woods. A good plane for the hand worker at a good price. Nothin' fancy, but it does the job. Note: there is no knicker, so it will not do cross grain cuts.
