The only thing I would have expected to see is the dial pointing to top-dead-center. Other than that the tool is what it is for specific tasks.

Comments about Oneway Multi Gauge :

After struggling to set my jointer knives, I finally got the right tool. I set my knives proud by 1-4 (10,000ths) of an inch with this awesome tool. I then flattened a sharpening stone on glass with sanding paper double-stick-taped to it. With this perfectly flat stone, I placed it on the out-feed table and (with the machine on), exposed the knives to the stone. This is the only way I will ever set my jointer knives again. It was so easy, and perfectly accurate! The problem is, knives are never perfectly flat (and even with the out-feed table) without this technique. This tool is a must have for any serious woodworker.
