Tired of leaning over trying to "see light" between a square and your table saw blade to get exact 90 or 45 degree cuts? Need 22.5 degrees for that curio cabinet corner? Now it's easy to achieve perfect pre-set stops or set your saw for any angle in between. Set the Wixey Digital Angle Gauge on your table saw top, close to the blade, and push the zero button, then attach it to your blade with the built in magnets. Simply adjust your blade until the desired angle appears on the easy-to-read digital display. Display is in 0.1 degree increments. Count on the Wixey Digital Angle Gauge to give you accurate angle settings every time.

    This is my second unit. The first unit has been in use for several years and was dropped quite a few times without disastrous results. The only negative thing is that it is easy to forget to switch off which does not do the batery any good. It would be nice of Wixey would introduce an auto switch off timer. Maybe that was included but certainly did not work on my unit. It has proven to be accurate and small enough to use in awkward places. This latter point is that it is so small that I have hidden my first unit in a very safe place, i.e. right now I don't know where that very safe pllace is and I do need it desparately for some intricate table/cut-off saw multi angle saw cuts.

    Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

    Very neat little gadget, easy to set compound miter angles and dial in bevels on the table saw. Magnetic base is handy, I didnt know it had that when I bought it, so thats a plus.

    All you have to do is remember to zero the reading on the flat surface of your tool and the rest is easy. No guesswork on the angle and it's right every time. The magnet was plenty strong for me, battery change is easy (mine came with an extra battery) and I really didn't even need to read the instructions to be able to start using it.

    I have used the Wixley Digital Angle Gauge to set the angle on the blade of my table saw, miter saw, and set up for milling operations on my milling machine. It is easy to do set ups on my projects and more than accurate enough for all but the most demanding projects. My only complaint is that it does not have magnets on the sides.
