Behlen Woodturner’s Finish ends the problem of finishing a round wooden surface. No more finishing runs or unfinished or under finished surfaces. It is a ready to use, fast drying, padding finish, especially formulated to finish round wooden objects: spindles, lamp bases, pool cues, pens, etc. Apply and buff while your project is still on the lathe; there's nothing easier or quicker.     Behlen's Woodturner's Finish is a great all-round shellac based sealer and finish. The instructions say to apply with the lathe turning slowly, however. after a few good coats are on as a sealer, I often run the speed up to about 1700 rpm and apply a few more coats. The shine starts to come thru after 4 or 5 coats. It dries fast so you are not waiting all day to get the piece off the lathe and go back to work. The only bad thing I have to say about it is it's a bit spendy.

    Product works well but if you're looking for a fast finish that you can use right away go to a friction finish. This seems to be more durable than a friction polish though.

    I have been using this for about 10 yrs. Easy to apply. I set lathe at lowest speed and apply w/ clean paper towel. Dries very quickly. For best results buff w/ Red Tripoli, White Diamond, and Carnuba.
