|PARKERSBURG, WV – Matt Horner of Cisco, Texas reacted with exuberance upon learning he had won the $1,000 grand prize in the one-day March 3rd Madness Sweepstakes presented by Woodcraft – the woodworking industry’s leader in providing top quality products to woodworkers of all skill levels.
“That’s great news; thank you so much,” exclaimed Mr. Horner when informed of being named the winner. “Looks like I’ll be getting some new tools!”
Horner entered the sweepstakes on March 3, 2007 at the Ft. Worth Woodcraft store.
“I’m a woodworker and have seen the Woodcraft catalog, but had never visited a Woodcraft store. I was amazed at all the products. I bought an item or two and entered the promotion. Next thing you know, I won,” Horner said.
While Horner was the big winner, eighty-five others across the country won $100 Woodcraft gift cards, redeemable at any Woodcraft Store or through Woodcraft's catalog or website.
Jeff Forbes, President of Woodcraft Supply, LLC, said, “We at Woodcraft are happy for Matt and all the other winners. This was a great promotion and one that generated a good bit of interest. We coupled the sweepstakes with a sale across all our marketing channels – stores, catalogue and Web – and our customers really responded.”
