Loose tenon joinery is nothing new. However, there has never been an easier, more economical way to cut mortises than the Zip Slot Mortise Mill! Using only a cordless or corded drill motor, these jigs will produce clean, crisp mortises in seconds. The Zip Slot Mortise Mill features a uniquely designed drill bit and hardened guide bushing that is pressed into a bearing. Simply use the guide bushing to guide the drill bit while you oscillate the bit back-and-forth with the lever system. It truly is that easy! Both jigs have adjustments for length of mortise and distance from edge while the Zip Slot Mortise Mill System adds chip collection, T-slots for clamping and a Stop/Guide for repeat set-ups.

Optional sizes (and replacement 3/8") of mortise kits are available in 1/4" and 1/2" which include the guide bushing with bearing, special drill bit, stop collar and sample hardwood tenons.
A replacement 1/4" mortise kit is available for the Pocket Zip Slot Mortise Mill. Replacement drill bits and bags of hardwood tenons are also available for both jigs.
