SJÖBERGS Woodworking Workbenches - The New Generation
SJÖBERGS has started a revolution in workbench design! SJÖBERGS of Sweden has been manufacturing top quality workbenches for over 80 years. They have recently redesigned their entire product line in order to meet the needs of the modern day woodworker and to take advantage of the latest manufacturing techniques. The range of new features is truly amazing and cannot be matched by any other manufacturer.

SJÖBERGS has two bench series, the Elite program, which is the top quality series, and the Nordic Plus program, which is more economical. Both series offer a complete range of sizes to meet your exact needs and come with a ten year warranty. All the SJÖBERGS models are reversible, making them 100% suitable for both right and left handed woodworkers.

Nordic Plus Workbenches
Based upon the latest SJÖBERGS design, the Nordic Plus series gives you the size you need at a price you can afford. The bench top is constructed in hard Nordic Birch. The amazing versatility of vice location permits left or right handed use, clamping on both ends or dual clamping on the front. All of the wood in the bench is FSC certified which guarantees forestry renewal. The hard Nordic birch top is built to last for a lifetime of normal use. Supplied with four steel bench dogs with a plastic coating to protect your edge tools. There is a double row of 3/4" clamping holes working from each of the four vise locations, giving an endless opportunity to clamp your work! All three benches are 33-1/2" high, 19-5/8" wide, have a 1-1/8" top thickness at the center and a 2-3/4" thick skirt. Vises open 4-1/2". These benches are available with or without a storage cabinet.
Nordic 1450
The smallest of the Nordic Plus series, the 1450 is 52-3/4" long, with a maximum clamping distance of 62-1/2" (vises mounted on both ends). Bench weight is 66 lb, shipping weight is 72 lb. Illustrated with optional Storage Cabinet.
Nordic 1660
A mid-sized bench, the 1660 is 61" long, with a maximum clamping distance of 71-1/4" (vises mounted on both ends). Bench weight is 73 lb, shipping weight is 76 lb.
Nordic 1950
The largest in the series, the 1950 is 71-1/2" long, with a maximum clamping distance of 82-1/4" (vises mounted on both ends). Bench weight is 79 lb, shipping weight is 86 lb.

Nordic Plus Storage Cabinet
Illustrated beneath a Nordic 1450. Features include two sliding doors with access to a large 24-1/4" x 15" x 15" open cabinet and four drawers measuring 3-1/2" x 12-1/4" x 12-1/4" each. Entire case measures 38-3/4" x 18" x 17-5/16". Includes a new set of stretchers, assembly required..
