Premium tool steel is hardened to 56-58 Rc to create a durable, resilient cutting edge, which stays sharp longer. All tools feature "through eye" forging and come handled, ready for use. Solid ash handles are unfinished. Carving Hatchet has a 5" cutting edge with an overall tool length of 18". Straight Head blade is 3" wide and overall tool length is 18". Curved Head blade is about 2-1/2" across, with a curve that approximates a #9 sweep carving tool profile. Overall tool length is 18". Small Curved Head adze’s blade is about 2" across, also with a curve that approximates a #9 sweep. Overall tool length is 11". The tool’s smaller size makes it a perfect bowl adze.
