Both of these saws feature brass ferrules and backs, with blades mounted in 5-1/4" stained European beech handles.
(A) Flush Cutting Saw has a flexible 20 TPI, 6-1/4" long blade with "reverse" teeth that cut on the pull stroke. Since there is no set in the teeth, dowels, tenons or other excess trim can be flush cut without marring the surrounding surface.
(B) Detail Joint Saw for those cuts when "close doesn’t count". The solid, full length, brass back holds the 6" long 18 TPI blade rigid for precision work. Teeth have a minimal set for a thin kerf. Max. depth of cut is 7/8".
